Hello OCN. While deployed here in Kuwait, I build a folding rig. (see sig). I now have another computer. My plan is to upgrade my HTPC.

The folding rig will replace my i5 rig. Now im left with an i5-750. What do I do with this? A quad in an htpc? im really looking on building a low powered htpc. Another thing is i will need a gpu if i want the i5 in the htpc.

What do i do? sell off the i5 and C2D and build an i3 rig?

OCN what would you do?

The C2D is more than sufficient for HTPC purposes.

No need to get an i3

imo, id sell all, and go an amd x 2 route. super low watt consumption.

especially if youre living on base, darn new rules stating we have to pay if we go over that limit, lol.
