Hi

I have an Amd Phenom ii x6 1090T Black Edition, does it mean that I only need to chance CPU multiplier and CPU Voltage to overclock the CPU and nothing else.

Thanks in advance and sorry for my English.

For a while yes. To start off, keep voltage stock and increase the multiplier. Then run stress tests until unstable. Increase voltage a bit and raise the FSB and continue

Yep. For overclocking the cpu yes.

correct, you can just up the multi and voltage. but remember you have to also lower your cpu-nb and dram to have higher than 3.8(ish)

???? Why??
multi doesn't affect ram or cpu-nb
If changing bsclk then you should keep an eye on those but if he's using multi only then its no need to lower cpu-nb or ram, and you should want to raise your cpu-nb as much as you can,the 3 main things to overclock on a AMD cpu are speed (4ghz if you can), cpu-nb and tighter ram timings.

I wonder too, why do I need to touch CPU-NB.

Why do I need to raise the FSB, cant I just raise multiplier and voltage?

never oc'd an AMD, but where I'm from multi x FSB= CPU mhz. So yes you can raise the multi to a point, but you can also change the FSB for fine tuning or more stable results.

Its not just the CPU being affected with the FSB, it will also make everything else faster. For people that want to really oc their system, they will change the FSB also. To the person saying lower the voltages, why would i need to? i have actually upped mine and am 99.9 percent stable, although the RAM is a hard thing to overclock:(
