hi folks

just after some advice regarding my i7 920. I have it stable at 1.28v at 4ghz (21x190), but i cant get it further than that...:S

Even if i put the cpu volt right up to 1.45v it still doesnt like it...What settings do I need to be changing to get it further stable? Only settings ive changed is the cpu volt..everything else is at Auto?

Turn off everything with spread spectrum, set your ram timings to what your ram is listed as. Increase ram voltage to 1.64.

speed spectrum is off c1e is off steepstep is off etc...so all the power saving features are off.

Ram is set to 7-7-7-20 and about 1550mhz, even when i massively underclock the ram to like 10-10-10-30 and low speeds it doesnt help :/

So what other settings is there that might be holding me back? im kinda hopng its just one or two settings that are abit low..seems strange that it can manage 4ghz easy but takes more than 0.1v extra just to get extra few hundred mhz
