i7 2600K stock cooler question

Considering the stock air cooler doesn't seem to be that bad as usual and a Noctua DH-D14 together with the 2500K is about the same price, what do you guys think?

Not looking for extreme OC, ~4.7 GHz @ 1.3 Vcore

Am I too optimistic or will it handle the pressure?

Plenty of people are getting them with the same old cooler. Guy in front of me bought a 2600k and the box was tiny like my 2500 .

its not :/ all the review sites got those coolers because intel didnt send out retail cpu packages to its reviewers. so they sent that heatsink.

you get this little dinky one... very dissapointing..

Anandtech seems to be using the same cooler that people are getting, the horizontal fan and not the tower style that comes with the 980x and they got 4.5GHz from it with reasonable temps. So I say go for it and if it doesn't work that well, you can always get a better one.

i would get the 2600k now, and later buy a better cooler , if you buy 2500k ur stuck with it
