I've never seen some of these features in bios so a lot of it is kinda confusing. I've never owned an intel system...

Let me know if you need a hand, I can try and explain some of the things I do know now... Much of the early time I spend alot of time reading online and the silly mobo manual to get mine straightened out.

I can only guess about 1/2 of what the 2600K does. So, at say 4500Mhz maybe around 14-16K? Hopefully someone will be able to add to the list soon.

I'm just at a loss. I've spent the past few hours working on it, and I'm just tired of looking at it. I'm @ 1.4core and my temps are totally fine @ 60c-ish with my H50.

what settings in your motherboard did you have to set?

What motherboard are you running? Check for bios updates, most P67 boards have been sitting in boxes for 3-4 months. Mine was 3 bios versions behind and once I updated it opened up more options and got me past 4.6Ghz.

LLC - load line calibration, set it to max/extreme. Can back it off once you pick what speed you want to stabilize.

CPU PLL overvolt - one option which was only available with the updated bios, and which I think singly improved my situation. If you have the option, enable.

Leave C1E and execute disable bit and simular options all on or auto, I could not get stable with them turned off.

Your still just using 100bclock right? Before I updated bios, by dropping down to 97 I was able to boot at a higher multiplyer. Since updating, anything other than 100 is completly useless.

Keep at it.. You'll get her there.
