and, Sheet updated I'll let the top slot sit for a few days and then i'll post my Ubuntu screenies
Looking at you current numbers for the 6901 project I think I may have to get folding working on my ubuntu partition and not in the ubuntu vm. May have to attempt higher clocks, but that didn't seem to go well last night...

Would I get a PPD increase if I installed the F@H client on a Virtual Ubuntu program in my Windows 7?

Or would I need to install a proper version of Ubuntu?

I got around a 15-20% increase in PPD by running F@H in my ubuntu VM. was at 46K PPD in windows client and now 55K PPD in ubuntu VM. I'm only using a VM due to having issues getting the temp sensors working in 10.10. Haven't tried tried getting it working in native 10.04, may give it a whirl tonight depending on when I get home...

It took me a while to find a guide that worked and I think I ended up combining two. I have the links at home and will post them when i get back from work.

I used this for setting up vmware, used 8 for any cpu info. Then used this for setting up F@H in ubuntu.
