Texture flickering in games?

Thread Starter
Hi, i OC'ed my card (HD 4770) to 875/1000 from the stock 750/800 and ran furmark for about 50mins with no artifacts to be sure the OC was stable however im noticing that the textures in ARMA 2 are flickering for a minute or so every 5mins, and crysis textures started flickering after about 25min of playing so im starting to think this may be the GPU at fault but it passed furmark with no problems so now im just confused, any suggestions?

Furmark is useful for heating a card up, and maybe a little initial stability testing, but it's anything but definitive in terms of stability.
The best test for stability, IMO, is OCCT with error testing in combination with complex 3D apps, Heaven being my current favourite.

So you're receiving errors in OCCT?

And by stock you know I meant running the GPU at stock clocks right?

I'd give it a whole hour with no errors before calling stable.
