GPU Water Cooling, Noobie Question

Thread Starter
I'm kind of reluctant to go all out on water-cooling at the moment as I'm currently using an h70 on my CPU. I'd now like to Water Cool my GPU as I'm annoyed by the rather loud fan noise. I realize that most people would say go big or go home, but I wanna dable my hands with just water cooling my GPU indepently from the CPU at the moment as I'm using a rather small case the Antex 300. Anyways I've decided that I'd go with the XSPC bay resoivoir/Pump and then use a traditional water-cooling block for my GPU, but I had questions on what size or type of Radiator I would need for a fairly small project such as this. I've noticed that the radiators have a rather large and wide variety of different choices and selections. So any suggestions or help for my small project would be much appreciated, thanks.

I'm sure down the road once I get a larger case, more funds, and confidence I'll move everything up a notch.

Probably more than you want to spend, but the first time I water cooled a PC i used this http://www.frozencpu.com/products/10...l=g30c107s1076

The performance is just as good as most 2x120mm rad and plenty to keep 2 GPUs nice and cool. It can easily be mounted outside of the case since your case is small. I used this until I just upgraded to the Corsair 800d which had plenty of room for a more normal custom loop.

Ok, and what if I were to downgrade to a single 5870? As I've noticed that my gaming has become primairly RTS games, which really doesn't require a Dual Setup.

Then you would only need a single 120. However here is what I would suggest:

XSPC RS360 Kit - $150
ATI 5870 Block - $100
Silver Kill Coil - $5
Bitspower 1/2" Barb Fitting x2 - $6

A CPU and GPU loop for only $261! I know you said you didn't want to cool your CPU but it's actually cheaper to get the XSPC Rasa kit than to buy the pump and radiator separately. You also get tubing, fittings clamps and fans with the kit, making it a steal.
