replaced mobo, replace software?

i replaced my asus mobo with an identical one, already updated the bios, but do i need to reinstall all of the chipset stuff?
or was that all installed to my hard drive when i did it, and therefor is running as we speak?

You shouldn't have to. Windows 7 is usually pretty good with that. If Win 7 recognizes your NIC then it's all good since it'll connect to the internet and download whatever you need in terms of drivers and/or chipsets.

I switched from EVGA to Asus board (same chipset) and didn't even have to reformat. lol

The only thing you may have to do is to call MS 800 number to reactivate your copy of Win 7 (highly unlikely since it's the same board).
