moving from intel X25M to vertex 2, need some help

so, after few month with my Intel X-25M G2 80GB i got my new toy...
a OCZ vertex 2



i'm going to clone and swap it tomorrow when i get home, but i would like to know if there is something else i need to do expect removing intel software and doing a simple clone from SSD to SSD

Now i maybe wrong but when I was researching about my SSD after reading lots of info it seemed that many people said that cloning an image into an SSD slowed it down and a fresh windows install was best. Can anyone shed some light on this.

Is the OCZ higher capacity? I don't have an SSD but from what I've read the Intel's are extremely nice SSDs. Along with Crucial.

I don't mean anything by this cause like I said, I don't have an SSD. I'm just asking.
