HAF X cable management

Thread Starter
I just bought this thing and all of my past builds have been a sloppy mess. So I need to know how to do this thing well. First off I don't know where to hide my fan cables, specifically the top and sides. Second if there's any special order I should do anything in let me know.

I will keep asking more questions as I start this thing.

That looks excellent man!

I have one question though. It looks like you had the ModRight sleeved extensions for your cables right?

Could you tell me if they are of good quality and if you trust them to power your expensive components because I really don't feel confident enough to sleeve my PSU completely and just stumbled across these on MicroCenters website.

Would you suggest these for people like me and the OP?

Well none of my stuff is going to be sleeved so I'm afraid mine will look messy. Where did your side fan connect?

I was surprised by the extension that I bought for that project. It was cheap yet it did the job. The connections were pretty standard on what you would find on any PSU and the sleeving was good for the price.

I would definitely recommend them to the OP. You will need one to make the same 8 pin wiring that I did for the motherboard.

All of the other wires in the case were from the Ultra 1200W that I sleeved. I got lazy and got the 8 pin extension after It wouldn't fit.

I mounted a 3 pin male connector under where the HDD bay is. I then routed the door fans wire along that side down to the HDD's. So when I put the door on I could connect it and it would be out of sight when the door was closed.

I hope that makes sense.
