Not mad at all. I considered 1155 also. But since 1155 came out, I've found sick deals on 1156 everywhere. It's a budget build. I'm betting he can find whatever he needs for a lot more than $20 less. Either way, I don't disagree 1155 is much, much better. But can he get a much better deal on 1155 or 1156 right now and is he willing to spend the extra for 1155?

That's his call. That's all I'm saying.

I'd probably side with a very sandy computer at this point. Complete with sand cooling. Your technology will be 2 days old, whereas the 1156 is phasing out. If you have a microcenter near you, pick up an i5 2500K and a nice Asus board for ~300 and you're well on your way to a powerful, "future-proof", and budget friendly rig
