AMD Phenom II x6 (1055T or 1090T) Will overclock
x2 HD 6850's

Will a quality 650w PSU be enough?

Quality 650 will go a long way, though you could always grab a bit bigger of a good brand if you intend to change that rig latter, just a thought

before you run and get that psu, which 6850?

my antec neo eco 620w (well reviewed) was not enough for my toxic 6850. although it was enough for my reference sapphire 5770. be careful.

Something must have been wrong with your Neo Eco 620 then, or the problem wasn't the PSU. And if you traded it for the one in your sig, I'm sorry to say you ended up with a worse PSU than the Neo Eco 620.

Just to give you a point of reference, your system would run fine on a good 450W unit.

^ i too agree a good 600 watt psu is enough for my rig with another gtx 460 put in....so even with ur higher tdp processor u should be fine with a good quality 650 watt psu....

As long as its a good unit that can do what its rated for, you'll be completely fine with a good bit of room to spare.

@ gammite

There must have been something wrong with your Neo Eco. It would have been enough for that rig and the PSU you've ended up with is pretty bad.
