Good Netbook OS?

I'm 100% sure this question has been asked already, but the forum search function isn't working, and the Google search function isn't giving me what I'm looking for.

So, with apologies, lets get down to business.

I'm looking for a good netbook OS. I've used Windows 7, I'm currently using Ubuntu Netbook Edition 10.04, and I refuse to use 10.10 until they fix the dang interface.

So yeah, 10.04 isn't doing it for me anymore, and I want to move on to something a tad bit more netbook friendly. Possibly even touchscreen friendly as I have plans of turning my netbook into a slate in the not to distant future.

I have my eye on Android, but as the x86 version of such is only at 1.6 the last time I checked, it's not all that appealing at the moment (unless progress has been made since last time I checked). Not to mention I wouldn't have access to the market which is one of the reasons why I'd want Android in the first place.

So yeah, as for what I'm going to so on it... One of the reasons why I stopped using Windows 7 on my netbook is because I found all I was using it for was web browsing, chatting, and watching videos. I did have a bunch of games on there (Sim City 4 ran decently other then some GUI issues), but I rarely played them.

Anyway, suggestions?

Check out Jolicloud. Not sure if that'd do it for you though. But it is pretty interesting if you ask me. There isn't many OS's to choose from when it comes down to Netbook's.

I used Meego for a while on my Toshiba NB205. It works great for exactly what you are doing with your netbook and I believe they are constantly striving to have a touch friendly interface.

Alright, I'll check those two out and see which one I like better. Thanks.
