I finished all the painting today. Almost had a problem painting the biohazard symbol on bottom. I omitted to lightly sand the area underneath my template, so when I spraypainted the orange logo on, it cracked and didn't apply to the black coat already on the piece very well at all. That and a little paint got under one edge of the template. So I applied some black over the whole thing, lightly wet-sanded just the logo area, then applied orange paint again. I didn't really want it to look perfect considering the theme of it, I wanted it to look just like it had been painted from a stencil, and the weathered look does it well I think.
Now for the bad news. I installed everything and began my leak testing, only to notice water dripping from behind the Rasa CPU block!!
Once I stopped raging and got everything cleaned up, I took apart the block to find this:
Since I bought this used from a forum member, there's no RMA option. I just emailed XSPC to see about getting a new O-ring for it. What a nuisance! Just when I thought everything would be up and running soon, it gets majorly delayed. Murphy's Law.
