And just to be sure Ivy-Bride will run under a 32nm process and not a 22nm process correct?
This is the architecture I deem upgradeable in the near future.
12 cores and 24 threads of madness.

Ivy Bridge is the name of the process shrink from 32 -> 22nm. The microarchitecture will be the same as Sandy Bridge aka damn good.

Ex: Westmere is the name of the 32nm process shrink of Nehalem(Microarchitecture).

Though they did improve the cache hierarchy, that is why Westmere is slightly faster per clock than Bloomfield.

Few months ago I read a rumour that X68 boards will have only 4 DIMM slots, I hope not, but yet again, I hope high end X68 boards will have 8 DIMM slots, 4 DIMM slots just isn't cutting it for me.

In order for it to be an atx sized board, it will only have 4 dimm slots. I mean, if you need more than 16gb of ram, you should probably be running a server, not a desktop.

I am super excited for this, I believe this will be my next upgrade. But i'll probably have to save all my money till then to afford it, but that's okay with me.
