Thanks.

Also, what benchmark should I use to see if my SSD is performing as expected?

You're very welcome. Here's the thread:

http://www.overclock.net/ssd/912251-...g-all-not.html

I guess I will recommend my personal favorite benchmark: ATTO Disk Benchmark. The reason why I like this is because the other popular benchmark tools like AS SSD Benchmkark or CrystalDiskMark show results that are more or less "worst case scenario". But ATTO seems to show what I guess can be called the "best case scenario". I mean, my results are very close to the read/write specs of 285/275. If I remember correctly, then the most I get is like 280/270 or something. Well, reverse that because ATTO puts the Write on the left, and the Read on the right (you'll see what I mean).

Wow. Unfortunately, those results don't look like the results of a Sandforce drive at all. Instead, they're almost identical to the results that might be seen in something like the original Vertex (the Indilinx Barefoot controller).

Download CrystalDiskInfo and see what it says about your SSD. Could be that it is improperly aligned or that you might need to update your firmware.

I have no clue.

Can you run AS SSD Benchmark and post a screenshot of it? There's something I want to see.
