Ummm I really have no Idea about the 280's and what P4 they have. I got them out of a Storage building auction for 20 bucks. I just know the are complete systems.

GPU folding might be the best bet at the moment. You could use the P4's and have one GTS450 in each machine.

Could you use HWmonitor or Real Temp. I don't really trust SpeedFan temps.
But could you load up CPUz on one of the 280's and find out? That's the only way we'd know if it would be beneficial or not.

Yikes! Thats hot. But if I remember right Speedfan is always a bit off with temp readings. Try HWmonitor.

Next Topic. Video Cards I have 2x 7800 gt's a 7900 gt 2x 6600 gt's , 7300 gs and an 4670 laying around not in use and all work. Are these card worth messing with ?

I have 7 Pc's folding atm that are all multi core but I have individual questions on them as well
Video cards won't work. I believe it's 8 series and up for Nvidia cards. IIRC that is. I believe I came in when I first started folding to see if my 7900 GTX would fold and was told it had to be 8 series+.

Use CPU-Z on all the machines you don't know about. It should give you info like the mobo name or model and you can look up which socket it has from that.

Most of the these dell's lack a PCIE slot.

I will hook up one of those 280's I will look for one with the latest MFG date; however it will be later this afternoon.

Those temps don't look TOO bad. You said ambient is like 15C right?
