Question about EPU

Thread Starter
I built my first PC last summer and have been using EPU to control my processor/fan speeds. While I think it is OK software, is there anything else anyone would recommend using? I switch from High Performance to Power Saving mode often when playing games and such. Power Saving mode dampers down the CPU speed and quiets the fans; not sure if this is the most efficient way to run my PC when not gaming, though. I guess I just don't like the fact that my CPU is constantly running on half its power or so.

Any recommendations?

Why don't you just buy a fan controller? Perfect way to control your fans. & as for controlling your processor, just enable the AMD equal to Intel Speed Step.

Ok, I turned this on in the BIOS and its running my PC in high-performance mode. It's loud; dont like that 24/7. Anything I can do to fix this?
