can i run a 580 oc edition

hey everyone here is my spec
-AMD Phenom II 1055T Six Core Processor 2.80ghz
-ASUS M4A88T-M Motherboard
-evga gtx 285 oc edition video card
-4gb ddr3 memory
-windows 7 64 bit os
-cool master haf case with 3 fans
-corsair 750w power supply with 80 plus
-22 inch benq led monitor

will i be able to run a evga 580 oc or will it bottleneck cause of my power supply. http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...9&Sku=C13-2503

i am really worried my power supply wont manaeg a new card and a cpu cooler..i am only runing one card

you should be fine, a 580 requires a 600 watt psu and when they say 600 watts they put into account all your other components. even if its OCed it shouldnt take too much more.

A power supply wouldn't bottleneck a GPU...an insufficient PSU would only cease to run it. In your case, that is a perfectly fine PSU.

you can overclock everything to the max and still be fine

This. I really wish people would stop using the term bottleneck as it just about never happens except for in extreme situations.

u can run an i7 and 2 GTX 580s on 777w's of accual power with all at 100% load
