Just because you found a x64 bit Vista driver doesn't guarantee it will function.
Your screen shows it' prompting for a serial key..how is that BS?
Do you not have the serial key to activate the software to run the TV tuner?
Three of the tuners I've tried, including this one are in the Windows 7 compatibility list.
What ever happened to the "if it works in Vista, it works in W7" thing that everyone was saying when W7 came out? Either way, I would like to at least try the driver. Windows 7 will not let me do that.
It's BS because all I want is a driver and it won't let me install it without a serial number, which they only bothered to print on a paper CD sleeve. I still have all the manuals, and it is nowhere to be found on any of them.

Hauppauge tuners work with no issues (I have used 3 different ones). I also have used 2 ATI cards that I had to use the Vista x64 drivers for, but no issues other than that.
I tried a Pinnacle 80e, a different pinnacle USB stick, a Hauppauge PCI tuner, and this one. All of them gave me driver issues.
All I'm looking for is a tutorial on how to install drivers from the .inf file like I used to do in XP.
EDIT: I just won the auction for an ATI TV wonder on eBay. I'll just use that one and stick the pinnacle into my other htpc as a secondary tuner.Edited by foothead - 1/11/11 at 7:49am
