Kingwin Lazer 850 Inquiry

Hey folks, I am going to be upgrading my PSU soon because honestly its lived 5 years in my house and is now starting to die. I was looking at the Kingwin Lazer 850W and from what reviews I found on it came to acknowledge it as a pretty good PSU. I was wondering what some of the more savvy people on OCN think about this specific PSU and was wondering if you could set me in the right direction. The PSU has to be modular; I am so tired of dicking with cables. Also, please no fanboyism, I don't care how awesome your Corsair or Antec is, I want a quality modular PSU that has a decent amount of headroom for my current system. My budget is 130 at the moment. Thank you in advance!

the only thing you may not like about that kingwin, is the obnoxiously bright lights when you turn it on, if you have a window case, it will light half the room for you in the dark, thats the reason i bypassed it, i got this corsair so i could turn OFF the led fan on the psu, it has a switch for it, which is convenient

the man you should really look for is phaedrus, hes our local psu man, he should help more than most of us, and hes unbiased on decisions

The Kingwin Lazer Gold series is very good, all previous Lazer lines had good points and bad points--either voltage regulation was nice but ripple sucked, or both voltage regulation and ripple were ok but the efficiency tanked, etc. The LZG units, though, get my thumbs up.

Alright, cool. I will make sure to get the LZG then. Thanks!
