When you look at the spreadsheet you can see some manufacturers warranties provide an advantage over others. I think some are realizing they need to make some changes to remain competative.

***Disclaimer***To find out the true warranty on any product you must refer to the manufacturer. This information is for comparison and not to replace the actual warranty and manufacturers terms. I will not provide any remedy for incorrect information other than to update the spreadsheet if notified.

Google Spreadsheet

If you see any inaccurate information please let me know so I can fix it. Please provide a link and or paste of the information from the manufacturer’s site.

I am pretty sure I have kept all my 8800gt's. They are all in various places.

edit: And fx5200's, and 8500gt's, and other low end cards sitting in desktops around the house.

**** just got real.

Looks like some of the smaller brands are kicking things up a notch. Didn't powercolor recently update their Warranty service to 3-years standard as well?

Do modern day graphics cards even last more than 3 years rendering games maxed out like we have today?

Did yours buy yours pre-2011? If so they have the old warranty. 1-1-2011 is the change date for new purchases as I read it.

I also quoted some of the fine print from Zotacs site. You have to register for the extended warranty within 30 days of making the purchase.

I just checked their site and it looks like they still have a 2 year warranty (powercolor).
