So far has triple screens evolved?

I remember there were supposed to be small bezel monitors for this purpose. Also, are there good quality monitors (non-TN)?

That is out. And it costs like $2000 for the 3 monitor setup. It's also TN if I recall. Linus has a video on it somewhere demo'ing it in a few videos.

You could probably buy 3 24" Dell IPS for cheaper, but the bezel will be a lot larger. That's what kept me from going a tri setup really. I would get OCD about constantly focusing on the bezels. So I just got a 42" plasma and called it a day.

Interesting... I've run three screens before, but not for gaming in a couple years. I used the matrox triplehead2go box for my setup.

It's great for racing type games. Everything else was so overwhelming. Imagine your fps like COD where the mini-map is way off in the corner. So far over in fact, you seldom see it. Text is way over on the lower left, so you miss a lot there too. And if you see something, your mouse movement isn't a twitch... it's a full arm sweep to get your crosshairs on it. I just couldn't do it.

For the hell of it since I still use 3) 17" lcd's here... My G5 mouse at 800dpi takes a full 7" sweep from one edge to the other. That's really where the problem lies. You can crank up the sensitivity, but then the mouse is too freaking twitchy to be accurate. So without the games being able to customize layouts, and some sort of variable dpi mouse drivers (so they increase mouse speed as you move to edges).. it's a royal pain.

I have always wondered if that was the case with the mouse. Kinda glad I never went this route.
