Overclock single or multi cores?

Hi all,

Just a quick question about the different 'XXghz club' would I need to OC all cores or just the one to be let in?

Just wondering as I know when I OCed just 1 core on my X4 CPU-Z just took that as thats the speed of the CPU, even though the other 3 cores were underclocked etc.

What is generally allowed? OC 1 to the max or do you have to run all cores at the same speed?

Good lol cause I can underclock 3 cores to like 1.2ghz which drops the temps massivly, then just tweek 1 core lol although CPU-Z can't seem to show this up lol
