Sorry if I made this thread into an Apple bashing thread but, I went to the Apple store and said they will replace it for $29. Good thing they didn't turn on my iPhone lol. The phone is perfectly fine but it just has a shattered back.
That's good news. With the way people in here were talking Apple would light you on fire and wouldn't pee on you to put it out.

The iPhone 4 had a common problem with the back glass shattering. You should be able to get a replacement easily with Apple.

That's good news. It could have been a lot more expensive.

grats OP for getting it solved.

For the future, depending on how you paid for it, you may have accidental coverage through your credit card company.

Like I know American Express has a 90 day purchase protection that covers accidental and theft up to 90 days of purchase.

My friend had his iphone front glass shatter, AMEX had him send in the iphone 4, and he got a replacement sent to him.

This actually makes me happy I did not buy an iPhone 4. i would be on my tenth phone by now, judging by how often I drop my Droid. I probably drop my phone 2-3 times a week. I am just waiting for it to disintegrate, but each time, it survives. I have a cheapo $0.99 rubberized plastic case on it from Ebay that actually does its job. I can'timagine thee hassle I'd be going through with an iPhone 4
