Some idiot says that intel says, did you know Intel says the same thing about i7 900 series. These chips are designed to take the voltage 1.6v is not uncommon, and none of those guy's chips have died. Its some stupid site trying to get hits from gullible people..... i don't even have to say who.

Here are my first test runs:

2600k at 4.3 ghz, 1.264 vcore.

H70 with stock fans running at about 60% (any higher and they sound very annoying).

Nice. I'm still waiting for my RAM to come, so I can start putting parts together. My goal is 4.5Ghz with stock voltage like ur pic.

I got a question. Can most of the 2600k do 4.5Ghz on stock voltage?

most can do it around 1.35v On a gigabyte board the VID will change but they can do it on vcore on auto, asus boards you want to manually set vcore to 1.35 and then try to lower it or raise it.

Hey thisNoobAgain!
Checkout my thread as well, I have a form and a spreadsheet all prepared and organized, perhaps we should incorporate? Go ahead and grab all of the BBcode from my thread if that helps, I have no need to 'be in charge' of the effort, though I do hope we can make this more formal and more accurate than previous attempts.
