Just Bought 2600K and MSI P67A-GD65 - Page 3

I need to come in and set somthing straight, MSI upped their phase quality to those that gigabyte already uses. the UD7 uses 24 phases for the CPU, and 4 phases for the uncore. They advertise 24 phases only becuase there are 24 driver mosfets, but the uncore uses low RDS (on) MOSFETs for its 4 phases. FYI gigabyte's DriverMOSFETs are basically equal to those MSI is JUST starting to use. Gigabyte's PWM is also better, its VRD12 certified, and tha tis why everyone with a gigabyte board can just set multiplier and the voltage scales perfectly.

In theory is MSi can say its equal to 4 normal phases then the UD7 is equal to 96 phases AND still has the uncore phases left out. The UD7 uses a true 24+4 phase array. in reality all the phases on the gigabyte board really work in parellel like on every board, but when you stack phases like that total power output increase with it, even when in parellel.

Nice clocks and voltage. GD65 would've been my 2nd choice if I couldn't get a P8P67 Pro.

What's your CPU batch? And place of purchase? Does it run stable?
