SSD's and Games

Thread Starter
After installing all the basic programs on the SSD I still have 95GB of space left. Do you guys think I should partition the SSD and then put games on that partition of the SSD or just install games on the SSD without partitioning it? Do SSD's really help with game performance or is it a minimal gain?

Also quick question about Steam. I bought Bioshock in person as opposed to on Steam, so it doesn't appear under games in Steam. Is it possible to make it appear there or nah? Just wondering since it would be convenient to have all the games be under steam profile that can be. Same goes with Crysis, I got a free version with my video card back in '08.

Whatever you do, do not partition. That is not generally a good idea unless you are dual booting. Otherwise if you are looking to store something elsewhere you would use a separate drive.

Hope that helps.
