What types of games do you normally play? Any parts you already have that you can use in the new build? i.e. case, monitor etc.etc Is m-ATX ok for a motherboard or do you want a full ATX mobo?
ill put one together, ill edit this post in a few minutes.

Edit:

I left out a dvd drive(hopefully you'll have one, if not you go over)
Also, jeez....you canadians have it rough with shipping.
If shipping is too much(i don't know any canadian zip codes) then go for a 460 768MB for cheaper or you could get an athlon ii x3 instead of the x4.

insides dont have to be pretty, neither does the case. just a new comp for $600

light overclocking, enough with the stock cooler, or maybe add some $$ for a cooler.

some basic games like cod4. and some low 2d games. this build is for my friend, he only plays some mmorpgs and only on 1280x1024 resolution. i think that a 9800gt would suffice. although there was the gtx 460 sale for $90 which was a steal.

I was gonna give him the 212, but the price was too much, and he could always add it later. I gave him what he needed for his budget, with the idea that he can add to it later.

edit: read you first post again, saw you didnt care for case, so why not put this in inplace of the 912.

we have postal codes, not zip codes =p

i would say a 460 is overkill. 1055t preferred. i dont really trust biostar motherboards.

he said he could fish out $700 MAX after tax and shipping and all that shizz.

got a thermaltake spinq cooler lyin around my house. how would that fare against the 212+? i might sell him that for $45.
