Gaming keyboard suggestion

Just wondering if you guys can suggest a good mechanical gaming keyboard. I have been reading about the razer bw ultimate and it seems pretty decent, however what makes me hesitate is the price. So I am just wondering if there something out there that offer similar feature for a cheaper price.

I hear it's loud, though...

Unfortunately, you'll be hardpressed to find a solid, new mechanical keyboard for under $70.

Anybody else have anything?

you're not really going to find a cheaper mechanical keyboard. spend the money on one, you won't be dissapointed. and they last 10x longer. I suggest the Steelseries 6GV2.

Mechanical hasn't really hit the gaming market, but the lastest one is the Razer Blackwidow, runs on cherry blues, Tactile click, 55G Actuation per key.

It's almost the only nice looking mechanical keyboard in my opinion, the rest look bland (though, that's for a reason as they are used by typists in offices rather than gamers in a home setting).

I'd highly recommend it, I love mine and I've only had it for 2 days.

Though, if you're in the market for a cheap mechanical keyboard rather than being suited to gaming, I hear good things of the ABS M1, which I believe can be found on Newegg.

Nope, sold out.

You'll probably have some luck on this forum though. Many users here (including myself) picked one up during the clearance sale.

Also, some of us like what you call "bland". I used to be into the whole gamer LED lights look, but now I prefer my system to be simple. Less flashy but still attractive to me.

Thanks for all the replies. Then I guess razer is the way to go then.
