Bootable Stresstest CD

Thread Starter
I just finished a build with an Intel Core i7-2600K and am delving into the world of Overclocking.

I new new to the sport, but am not a big fan of letting windows Bluescreen to see if it is stable. This seems like it would "corrupt" the windows installation.

Does anybody recommend any bootable environments that can 1) stress the system and 2) monitor temperatures?

I am downloading Stresslinux right now as we speak.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,
Dan

Windows 7 is very stable and recovers very well from blue screens. That said assuming you want to use your computer in a Windows environment it would be best to stress test it under windows no? If it comes down to it you can always reinstall windows.
