Exactly, that proves what I said was indeed correct. 270W is from the wall, which is quite low really but it is only on 3dMark, with Furmark you could be looking at more like 350W from the wall on an overclocked card.

Actually 3DMark and Furmark are fairly similar in power consumption.

Hardware.fr is where to go to look for actual graphics card power consumption, they have a PCIe extension card that acts as a power meter for the graphics card slot.

Yeah I definitely think it's a good psu for the price. I came across a tx850 for $75 so I couldn't pass it up! But anyone who needs 1000w for a very cheap price should take a look at this tuniq

Those figures are definitely for the whole system, measured at the wall. It even says "Watts at socket" in small print in the graphs.
