Yep. I should have read more about Maxmius Formula III memory problems before buying one. I paid premium, have two boards at home and none of them work in dual channel. THey are perfectly fine in sigle channel mode but as sson as I change to dual only 2Gb of ram is usable. I wasted too much time.

My wife bought SB bundle for at MC. All I need is to get rid of my brand new Lynnfield.

There is a slight misconception about the dual 16x PCI. All the current boards only do dual 8x due to the controller that's on the boards.

From the ASUS site on the P8P67 Deluxe MB. Look at the specifications page.
