Everything you're saying is absolutely right, but you are still failing to consider the primary purpose of the monitor. Let me remind you:

XBox 360

Not Blu-Ray. There is absolutely no sense in spending extra money for a high-quality monitor when the source is so undeniably poor quality. As an XBox 360 gamer, I can say honestly that having a better representation of the jagged, poorly rendered image on my screen would only cause me to forcibly embed my controller into the panel. Let's save this poor fella that trouble.

i just want something that will look great while im gaming and possibly watching movies thru netflix or my laptop...i dont do design work or anything
