Strange issue while overclocking?

Thread Starter
For some reason when overclocking my USB ports started to fail. I had bumped the southbridge voltage by 0.1v (from 1.2 to 1.3) and I didn't imagine it would do any harm, but now I am wondering.

Basically, about 30 sec after turning the PC on, all USB would appear to lose power. I would still see lights on the USB, but it would not accept any input, and there was a faint buzzing sound coming from the case any time I pressed a button on the keyboard.

Would this buzzing be coming from the internal speakers or an actual part? And if so, did I damage something?
Temps on southbridge at 1.2v are about 24c idle.
