That's the tower HSF that was provided to professional reviewers. You have to buy it separate.

@larebow, that's not the heatsink that came with mines, the one that I have looks like what others have posted a page or 2 back.

@guyladouche, I was thinking the same thing and tried to push down on the HSF while it's under load but unfortunately that didn't seem to make any difference. I've touched the HSF while under load and it doesnt seem to be cooking like the temps are suggesting. I've touched my vid card (temp is 56c) and that thing is pretty hot, but the hsf at 80c feels more like 45c ish.

Agreed - seems wayyy high! I only need 1.3v qpi to hit 5ghz on my 655k. I'd try manually setting it to 1.3 or so and prime test it.

Haha, believe me, your Bloomsfield 930 did NOT come with the same heatsink.

If it did, you'd have nuclear fission in your case by now

Wonder how much intel is making selling that thing at $40. You can buy a LOT of good coolers for $40.

Hell, the D14 can be had for $50 during boxing week @ NCIX.

The heatsink stinks... if only Intel used nice heatsinks like AMD.
