The idea is to free up some memory, and for older games: counter, warcraft battlefield2 etc etc.

My brother has a 9500gt and at the right resolutions it can haul ass lol.

On his pc i played bad company 2, Batman Arkham asylum and definitely counterstrike.

All comfortably.

gatta look at ram and cpu also though.

The G 210 is pretty awful. It's worse than integrated graphics on newer 780G/785G/790GX/880G/890GX/GF9300.

I vote for either HD 4550 or HD 5450 because they're pretty much the only ones available in your price range.

I would recommend a 4850 since my brother was running that for quite a while and just upgraded to a 5770 which I sold him for $90 bucks.

With 4850 he played GTIV and Dirt 2 and BFBC2 in max settings or almost... no AA or anything like that though.... also he played on his 47" 1080p resolution. Once in a while after hours of playing the card would complain though since his case sucks for air ventilation and the card used to get hot.

If you don't find a new one for that price pm me I might get him to sell it cheap.
