Hey all, finally got all my parts and will start overclocking my 2500k on this board

I am seeing conflicting answers on OC guides for sandy bridge...

should i enable or disable the following? I want to try to get 4.6-4.8 on my processor...

Spread Spectrum
C1E
C3
C6
Thermal Throttling
Package C State Support

Thanks everyone

I have 4gb Corsair Vengeance 2000mhz ram.
I can run it at 1866mhz just fine . The XMP profile says 10,10,10,27 2000. In actuale use there running 10,10,10,27 1866mhz or i can run them fine at 9,10,9,24 1866mhz
Dram voltage v1.50 or v1.53 it does not seem to matter.
VTT v1.050

The bios does not have a 2000mhz listed but it does have 21XXmhz. If i try 21XXmhz it will not even post so i assume its a voltage problem as i would think 21XXmhz is no that much of a OC for this ram.

Anyone have any suggestions on getting to 21XXmhz?

Thanks
Sig Rig

I got the Extreme 4 Gen 3 and have no issues....

Your questions doesnt make a lot of sense.....since they are indeed, one in the same.

Yeah, they are both great boards. Not sure why he said they are the same as they certainly aren't.
