well i have waited long so i deserve to get a strong cpu

according to the results here

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...e,2837-29.html

Asus P8P67 pro was able to increase base clock 100 to 108

so lets say that my cpu did 48 multiplier

which means 48 * 100 = 4800

and i also increased base clock 100 to 104

so i still can get 5 GHZ

do you think that 104 base clock would harm my companents ?

Yes they do.
but they will only last like 6 months.

D1 stepping can do 5Ghz on air 24/7
D2 can't do 5Ghz on air 24/7

Is this a typo? Or is your water really -6°C? Because i thought any water below 0°C was called "ice"

If a 2600K could do 5.5GHz 24/7 stable (regardless of Vore used) then it would do 6GHz+ on suicide run easy..

But that is not the case as highest 2600K suicide OC on HWBot is 5.68GHz with 1.65V..

CHEERS..

No it couldn't. The multiplier can only go to x57, with a locked 100BCLK.

It could do 6GHz with 105Mhz BCLK an nobody hasn`t done it by now..

And Asus Maximus IV Extreme that holds 1st place in the link that I`ve posted can do at least 105MHz BCLK for sure, but still there`s no 6GHz+ OC yet..

Intel said that messing with the base clock could cause serious physical damage.

CHEERS..
BECAUSE bclk oc's are a NO NO NO NO NO. Period. This will cause damage, so no one is wanting to just give their new parts away yet. The highest oc you SHOULD see is 5.7ghz. As if that isn't enough lol
