Technically, Wikileaks is a news organization. Pvt Manning did indeed commit espionage, but Julian simply published it, in the same way the New York Times and the UK's Guardian did. Under our own laws, only Manning did wrong. The same thing happened with the Pentagon Papers years back.

While I may not agree with Julian, I do think he nor Wikileaks should come under fire, as it opens the door for any US media to be censored or controlled by the government.

Generally people are naive in the extreme about government. It's the biggest, fastest growing, most corrupt entity on the planet. With the way things are now in the States, it'll only be getting worse.
