Well that's a lie, when I ordered my SSD a few weeks ago it dropped $40 the next day and I got the $40 refund. =P

hmm well i think ill send them an email instead and tell them what "Amber" has told me. For someone who has spent over $3500 total with newegg i think they could atleast send me a free gift they added to my card the day after i paid $509 for it...

Yeah, just yesterday I ordered a motherboard, and when I went to check out, where it says "Enter promo code", you could click to view the newsletter for promo codes, and my motherboard was on there. I tried the promo code listed there and it didn't work. Went to the bottom of the newsletter, it had expired on the 3rd (I ordered it yesterday, the 10th) and I decided to go on live chat with them. I wasn't about to get fired up or lose my cool, I mean it was a $15 price difference, but because I kept my cool, they credited me that promo code.

So if you're just nice to them and don't go on a rampage, you should be okay, don't start getting mad, start swearing, or deliver any threats. Sometimes though, it does depend on the agent that you get, you have to remember these people are human too and may just be having a bad day and don't feel 100% up to par with delivering 100% customer service (I work in retail, I know how it is). It doesn't hurt to give it a try with another agent. Good luck!

i hope my card don't get delayed, theirs like 4 inches of snow on the roads since i live out of city limits of a small lake town. but ups says its out for delivery so i can hope.

Also i hate to talk on the phone, so that will be the last resort.
