This was my choice before i bought the vg236h e with 120hz + 2ms. Personally I dont regret it but if you want to play on a big monitor with a not so big card then the vk278q is the way to go considering the native res is @ 1920x1080. I would look for some reviews about input lag and see if you can tolerate if there is any.

ok thats a nice one after looking and thinking about it and seeing it a think a 27" would be too big. a 23 to 24" would work just fine.

thats more of a 3d one.

How about this one. the spec seem great. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824001380

that one actually looks really good. Good specs, good price, but make sure you look for some reviews. Most monitor specs are BS but samsungs got some good quality monitors

Ok I have it down to two. If anybody can help me more that would be great. after looking more closer I can fit a 27" on my desk.

1: Asus VK278Q Black 27" 1920x1080 2ms Full HD HDMI
LED BackLight LCD Monitor w/Webcam 300 cd/m2
10,000,000 :1 (ASCR)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824236101

The reviews are great on newegg and what I can find on the web this is the best 27" for the the money, they say its a 27" so the edges are messed up some. next up would be the dell 27" for $1,000. I did get some reviews that say asus sucks and so on. and this is a newer monitor so there is not to many reviews out ther.

2. SAMSUNG XL2370-1 Charcoal Gray 23" 2ms Full HD HDMI LED Backlight
LCD Monitor Slim Design 250 cd/m2 DC 5,000,000:1(1000:1)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824001380

The reviews are great on newegg, saying its a great gaming monitor and I found reviews on like pc mag. that say its a good gaming one. and people said they went to best buy and stuff and they said this monitor hands down had the best picture and and SAMSUNG now for there great looking monitors. but I also read bad reviews saying that it stops working after about a mouth, and getting SAMSUNG on the phone is a nightmare. there all over the web about how they suck at that.

Anymore input would be great.

thanks

I would like to get some information on this monitor as well. The Fry's saleman was trying to sell me on it because he said everyone is going LED and all manufacturers are supposed to go LEd by 2014. It looks good, and I am plan on buying 2, but would like some info before making a big purchase.
