Thread Starter
Asus is coming out with a SB ITX board and I have some confusion.

They both have the same model number on the mobos.. I hope we get the black heatsink one..

Just got off the phone with Asus, they just got the info literally 20 minutes ago.

Deluxe has 2x SATA 6, 2x SATA 3, 1x eSATA, wifi, alc892 8ch audio, less USB to accommodate eSATA

Regular has no wifi, no eSATA, more USB, weaker audio VIA but still 8ch, 2x SATA 6, 2x SATA 3

Both have rtl811e LAN and have a H67 chipset.

"From what I've since found it seems to be that the ALC892 supports the streaming of the new lossless multichannel codecs like Dolby True HD and DTS HD" http://forums.overclockers.com.au/sh...d.php?t=854665

The novelty of a small powerhouse kind of goes away when there is no overclocking available.

true that. i love my ITX box to death and the H55N is awesome for what it does. but, man...how i wish they made p55/p67 in ITX form. it's really just not fair.

Even though Zotac has a 140W TDP H67 board, totally useless. Its going to be interesting to see who releases a z67 ITX board first.

I'm just happy I can get a ITX mobo/proc thats faster stock than a 1090T as it's difficult to get a 1090T working in a ITX board at all. There are a few who play with fire and add heatsinks to the vregs to clock to 4.0GHZ but only in a test bench with a large HSF.
