The reason people take ****ty photos is not because they're bad photographer (they are).
It's because they don't CARE. People have an inability to care.
Seriously, think about it. Would YOU take a ****ty photo? No! Why? Because you care.
That's all I have to say about that.
Untrue - most of the reason is because the don't know any better, never realized they are capable of it, or believe you have to have either expensive equipment or extensive knowledge.
This tutorial hits all the BASIC points to improve photography. I myself am no pro and know small basics like this and my wife used to marvel at how most of my pictures looked so much better than the ones she took. Now after watching what I did and after spending a year of just talking through what I was doing while taking pictures she realizes how simple and minor the things are she can do to try and improve the quality of the pictures we take with just a point and shoot!
Although there are times where I don't care about the picture being taken - for the most part on this forum people take bad pictures because they don't know any better! I have even helped a few people with tips in the past that they were thrilled about when they saw how easy it was
