How is that Bronica, I had mine stolen frown.gif loved that thing but couldn't really justify buying another at the time... Do you use it a lot?

Personally I would frame this slightly differently and try to get a bit more atmosphere from the lighting, it looks directional which is fine but it has a green mask to it. (ok if that's what you are going for.) I do think if it is just the PSU you are wanting to photograph I would get a bit closer or take it out of the case as to not detract from it. (taking it out would give you way more lighting options and positions to try)

I don't want to sound indifferent and discourage you - I love that people are up for putting work on here, you obviously love that PSU and there is nothing wrong with that! - I would also consider if you need the cables in the shot or wether a cable tidy would suit.

Keep it up! thumb.gif

Hey guys!

I have read through the entire thread, and was inspired to take some shots.

These are taken with my Sony NEX-5N with 13-55mm lens.

Love this camera!

MetallicAcid, do you mind if I make a couple suggestions?

Try to diffuse the light you're working with to eliminate the "hotspots" you're getting. A white sheet or piece of paper in front of the lamp will help immensely.

Set your white balance manually to get rid of the yellow tint. And on that note, I would recommend taking your pictures in a dark room if you're going to use the lamp you're using, because the mix of natural and artificial light kinda throws it.

just put wax paper over the front of your light source. best way to soften light for practically nothing. i keep a roll of wax paper in my video kit solely for the reason i need a quick poor man diffuser

My wax paper is brown, I guess I'll have to find some white wax paper to use!

Great tip.
