How to Photograph your Rig - Page 84

Nonetheless, a very nice shot. I like the blue in the center.

BTW, are those still HyperX RAM, or is there a custom cooling kit on them?
On my screen the coolers appear to be dark blue, and I do not recall the hyperX being dark.....

I agree with this, the focus is just slightly off or there is camera shake, I like the mood though - keep it up.thumb.gif

snef, you have a really nice build there and a good eye, if I were to offer anything I would say that the depth of field for shots 1 and 3 isn't big enough so you loose the drama that shot 2 gains from having a narrower depth of field. I love the 2nd shot that much that I think it takes away from 1 and 3. They are fine but for me I'd want more detail from them - If this doens't look right then I'd try to frame it in parts like you have with shot 2 and leave shot 4 for your overall build shot. I'm being extremely picky so please don't be upset. have a play with taking your f/stop to f8or even f11 with shots 1 and 3 and see what you think. smile.gif - Like I said, I love 2 & 4 smile.gifthumb.gif

haha snef, that build is incredible - the white sabertooth is amazing. the white balance on shot 1 is perfect, however the barrel distortion lets it down, do you have the software to correct this? however the ****e blanace on shot 2 is off compared but the framing is perfect!!! I'm not picking on you snef I promise, you have a great eye and I would love to be as good as you at building PC's.... biggrin.gif

+rep for using your case panel as a black background - feeling a bit stupid for not even considering this , was going to buy some black acrylic haha!! tongue.gif

I love the fact you've taken the memory out and taken photos of it alone, perfect. I also like both full build shots but prefer the bottom one.

yeah that is hyperX ram that was given to me second hand. the dark color is more than likely a result of lighting, contrast, and saturation. they are much lighter than what the picture makes them look smile.gif
