Overclock.net is extremely helpful in this area.

But I wouldn't do anything to your Alienware system. I mean damn: why mess with something that powerful? hehe

Could you give me a estimation on how long you think this pc would last? considering I can't upgrade the motherboard or processor?

With an X58 i7 you should be good for the future, and last a while. You should really only need to upgrade you GPU in the future if you want more performance. The 1366 chips have major power.

so don't worry about that part.

It depends on you. You are the best judge here because it is your system.

For example, check out my sig rig. This system should easily last me (and probably ONLY me) for the next 2-3 years before I feel like upgrading something. But for others, it's already way too slow and outdated.

So if I had your system, then I'd be set for the next 5-7 years.

However, again: you can upgrade the processor. As long as it is a 1366 socket CPU, then you should be able to put it in this motherboard.
