Post your Sandy batch numbers - Page 7

Hi everyone, I'm new here but I recently bought the 2600K but I'll get the rest of my PC on Friday, but the batch number of my 2600K is L041B355, I haven't seen this number anywhere before and now I'm a tad worried :S, even a google search of the number shows up no result, telling me that nobody with the same batch number has posted it on the web. I just hope it's a good clocker since I hope to push 5 GHz, would be happy with 4,8 though, but I'd be kinda pissed if it couldn't even push 4,6-7. I guess I'll just have to wait till Friday :/

well what kinda gear you working with? heatsink case etc?

you do realize that the fact that most these chips can do 4.5 np is like a feat in itself right? 4.5 is a damn good speed especially for a quad core lol. ppl just want more and more.

well sure, but if you pay for a product which in some cases can be bad but others good, you'd like the product you receive to be good, right?
I chose the Asus p8p67 PRO mobo, 2x2GB Mushkin Redline Cl6 RAM, gtx570, and Noctua NH-D14 cooler, I've got an Antec p182b case.

Hi Guys I grabbed an i5-2500k L040B671 from the Tustin microcenter too.
My first Asus P8P67 mobo came DOA from the Egg so I'm waiting for an RMA to arrive.
Got some G.Skill 2x2gb Cas 6 DDR3 1600 and a Venomous-X waiting for it.
My shader unlocked HIS 6950 could use a better playmate too.

Can't wait but current batch results look promising.

Guess I'll have to settle for my 4.6ghz i3-540 until my RMA mobo arrives =)
(new here but a regular at XS and TPU forums)

BTW how do I get my signature to show up?

I just could not get into windows with a 47 multi no matter what I tried. I suspect it might be the board... waiting on BIOS update for this board, I guess.

I have the same Batch Number L040B672. I can get into windows on 4.8GHZ but it freezes minutes after starting Prime95. Currently I can only get 4.5GHZ stable. Here are the settings I am using.
