Looking for feedback on my i5-2500k build please

Just ordered a new computer, hoping I did it all right.

Intel Core i5 2500K Quad Core Unlocked Processor LGA1155 3.3GHZ Sandy Bridge 6MB *IR-$10*
57962 1 $228.99 $228.99
ASUS P8P67 ATX P67 LGA1155 DDR3 2PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 3PCI SATA3 USB3.0 Sound GBLAN Motherboard
58015 1 $159.98 $159.98
Corsair Professional HX650W 650W ATX 12V 52A 24PIN ATX Modular Power Supply Active PFC 120MM Fan
42532 1 $124.99 $124.99
Corsair Graphite Series 600T Mid-Tower Case ATX 4X5.25 6X3.5INT USB 1394 4 Channel Fan Ctrl No PS
54712 1 $169.98 $169.98
XFX Radeon HD 6950 2GB GDDR5 PCI-E 2XDVI HDMI 2x Mini DisplayPort Video Card
57630 1 $339.99 $339.99
Samsung SH-S223L/BEBS 22X SATA Black DVD Writer Lightscribe OEM
42349 1 $21.99 $21.99
G.SKILL F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH Ripjaws PC3-10666 4GB 2X2GB DDR3-1333 CL7-7-7-21 Core i5 1.5V Memory Kit
42744 2 $48.99 $97.98

Total before taxes came to $1225 with $80 express shipping. I've also got about $50 in mail in rebates as much as I hate those. I went with 8 GB of RAM since it seems like it might be worth it, even though I know it's such a small difference. Oh, and I'm taking two 1 TB Storage drives and my 60 GB Vertex SSD out of my current computer so I won't need those.

Just looking for some feedback. I'll probably buy an aftermarket cooler to overclock the 2500k a bit but from what I've read, 4 GHz is very attainable on even the stock cooler.

Looks good. 4.5ghz is doable on air from what I have seen. You need to pick up a cooler.

I definitely will, especially now that you don't need anything fancy. Just going with this for now as it's my first build, I'll tackle adding an aftermarket cooler next but the stock cooler being capable of 4 GHz sounded appealing. I definitely did go with the 2500k with the intent of eventually overclocking though.

Okay so I decided to go with the Pro, and added the Hyper 212 to the order since they hadn't processed it.

I wish they didn't take so long to process credit card orders.

Okay, well I changed the order since I had a credit card issue so I figured what the hell and took advantage of some sales. Saved about $200 from NCIX, just doing one final confirmation before I hit buy this time.

Sapphire Radeon HD 6950 $289.99
NCIX Gaming Bundle ASUS P8P67 ATX P67 3PCI-E16 Motherboard + Intel Core i5 2500K Sandy Bridge CPU 1 $379.99 -- Intel Core i5 2500 & ASUS P8P67 Pro ATX P67 LGA1155 DDR3
Corsair TX750W $129.99
G.SKILL Ripjaws X F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-1600 CL9-9-9-24 Memory 1 $89.99
Corsair Graphite Series 600T Mid-Tower Case $169.98
Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus $29.99
LG 16X DVD-ROM Optical Drive SATA Black OEM 1 $19.99 $19.99
Shipping & Handling: $5.99 SUBTOTAL: $1,115.91 No PST $0.00 HST(12%) $133.91 TOTAL: $1,249.82

I'm considering the $70 upgrade to the i7-2600k package with the upgraded deluxe motherboard, [$520 for the package] but not entirely sure yet. It's probably overkill but I do plan on overclocking as much as I can without being too stupid. That being said, I'll likely only be using it for games so it might just be a wasted $70. I realize future proofing is both impossible and stupid to attempt, I'm just trying to find any loose ends here that I might be able to make small upgrades on. My budget was $1500 and with the NCIX sales I'm quite a bit under it right now.

Also I realize the PSU is overkill but it was actually $10 cheaper than the 650W equivalent.
